Niigata University Information Security Measures Support Contract 1 Set
Niigata University has issued a procurement to secure a comprehensive information security support contract, encompassing the provision of 24‑hour network intrusion monitoring, incident response, vulnerability assessment, and operational consulting services tailored to the university’s Information Security Policy. The awardee will be required to supervise continuous monitoring operations with a CISSP‑qualified individual or equivalent, and lead on‑site command teams that hold at least two of several recognized security audit examinations, thereby ensuring a high level of governance and accountability across all security tasks.
The contract requires a full spectrum of security consulting functions, including emergency incident handling, evidence preservation, threat intelligence gathering, asset management support, and the execution of targeted e‑mail attack drills and vulnerability assessments using Nessus. In addition, the contractor will deliver bi‑weekly security intelligence briefs, conduct advisory audits aligned with the university’s procedures, maintain an IT asset management tool, and provide twelve‑hour annual onsite support comprising lectures, training material preparation, and field surveys. Regular monthly meetings will be held with university staff to review operations, document procedures, and manage any consultant changes, with strict data handling and remote work protocols enforced to protect the university’s information assets.
The contractor must possess CISSP certification and employ vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus.
