Country:
United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern IrelandSector:
Security, fire-fighting, police and defence equipmentDeadline:
31 Dec 2026AI Summary
The Royal Agricultural University is inviting tenders for the replacement of its institutional CCTV system, a comprehensive re‑tendering of the previous opportunity. The procurement seeks a fully integrated solution that connects seamlessly to the university’s newly installed Avigilon Unity 160TB AI NVR2X server within the RAU estate. The successful contractor will supply, configure, integrate, and commission all remaining system components, including a range of cameras, software licences, peripheral hardware, and the necessary network cabling and installation services. In addition to the initial installation, the contract covers staff training and ongoing lifecycle maintenance and software support to ensure sustained operational readiness.
Technical capability carries a 70 % weighting in the award criteria, complemented by a 30 % value‑for‑money assessment, reflecting the university’s emphasis on robust, secure video management performance. The revised core specifications require the new CCTV system to meet the updated security objectives and to fully align with the existing central storage infrastructure. All technical requirements must therefore be compatible with the Avigilon Unity platform and conform to the university’s security and integration standards.
