Country:

Sector:

Deadline:

AI Summary

Medway Council has established a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to secure a reliable marketplace of providers capable of delivering person‑centred supported living services to adults aged 18 and over who meet the eligibility criteria under the Care Act 2014. The DPS is designed to ensure that suitable professionals, with the necessary specialisms, can supply high‑quality care and support services that place the individual and their outcomes at the centre of planning and delivery.

The council is seeking contractors for three distinct lots. Lot 1 requires support at accommodation for individuals with lower needs, encompassing budgeting, coordination of appointments, personal care, diet and nutrition support, home maintenance, social inclusion, and the development of skills to move toward greater independence, without night support. Lot 2 covers support at accommodation for individuals with higher needs, adding continuous supervision, behaviour management, medication administration, and 9‑hour night support for those who require it, in addition to the services outlined for lower needs. Lot 3 targets specialist support for people with complex challenging, violent or forensic behaviour and substance‑use conditions, demanding demonstrable specialist experience in these areas.

All submissions to the DPS must be made electronically via the updated links provided for each lot, with a deadline of 30 January 2027. The council will award contracts based on quality assessment weighted at 65 % and price at 35 %. Higher‑needs providers must be CQC registered and have staff trained to the required levels.
