EPoS systems (2025 - 2029)

TUCO Ltd. is procuring a full range of electronic point‑of‑sale (EPoS) systems for use in the United Kingdom from April 2025 to March 2029. The contract is divided into four distinct lots that together cover retail, restaurant, self‑serve retail, self‑serve catering and kiosk environments, with an additional “One‑Stop‑Shop” lot that integrates all of the previous categories. Each lot encompasses the complete suite of hardware, software, applications and associated support services required for a fully operational EPoS solution.

The contract will have an initial two‑year term, with the possibility of up to two further one‑year extensions, and will be renewed on a recurring basis. Bidders must deliver solutions strictly within the specified categories and may not propose variant or option packages. Timelines and technical guidance are supplied through the “SQ Note to Tenders” documents referenced in the procurement.

All candidate solutions must adhere to the specifications set out in the SQ Notes to Tenders and comply with the United Kingdom’s data protection and POS industry standards.

This DPS establishment is to select qualified suppliers to provide EPoS systems which include Software, Hardware, Applications and associated services. The DPS has 4 lotsLot 1 Retail EPoS systemLot 2 Restaurant EPoS systemLot 3 Self-Serve EPoS system which covers Self-serve – Retail, Self-serve - Catering and Self-serve - KioskLot 4 One Stop Shop system which covers all the above.The timetable set out in the tender document is indicative only and is subject to amendment at any time. The Authority will notify all Bidders of any changes via the In-Tend system. As the retender for this Agreement is expected to go live at the beginning of 2029 and to ensure a smooth transition from the current agreement to the new one, this DPS will not accept new submissions after the final round is closed
