AI Summary

The Scottish Government is establishing a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for procurement of fire alarm design and installation services, together with associated project management support. The DPS is divided into two distinct lots: Lot 1 covering the full spectrum of fire alarm design and installation work, and Lot 2 providing the specialist project management services required to oversee and coordinate those installations. Each lot is open to call‑off contracts that may span from thousands to millions of pounds, but the Government has not committed to any volume guarantee, meaning that spend is not assured through the DPS.

Candidates are invited to submit proposals in English, and the procurement process is understood to be recurrent, with potential additional notifications awaiting confirmation in the future. Award decisions will weigh quality heavily, with a weighting between 40 % and 80 %, and cost between 20 % and 60 %. Successful bidders will be required to adhere to the standards and safety requirements established by the DPS throughout the project lifecycle.
