NEYPPC-High Tech Homecare Medicines Service(2025)

The North East & Yorkshire NHS Pharmaceutical Purchasing Consortium is establishing a multi‑award framework agreement for the provision of High Tech Homecare Medicines Services to meet the needs of member trusts across the NEY region, while also permitting access for other publicly funded entities subject to prior approval. The framework will comprise six distinct lots covering a range of unlicensed compounded preparations—including desferrioxamine, antimicrobials, chemotherapy, monoclonal antibodies, and other compounded formulations—as well as metabolic disorder medicines and other non‑compounded high‑tech homecare services.

Contracting will be carried out through an electronic platform, allowing interested suppliers to register via the Atamis e‑sourcing portal and receive further instructions or clarification through designated support contacts. Each lot anticipates optional 24‑month extensions, reflecting the consortium’s desire for long‑term continuity of supply and service quality across the consortium’s NHS trusts. All bids will be assessed on a weighted criteria of technical and quality performance (50 %), commercial considerations (40 %), and social value (10 %).

All required formulations must satisfy the relevant high‑tech homecare medicines standards and be prepared under strict quality assurance protocols to ensure safe and effective patient care.

The North East & Yorkshire NHS Pharmaceutical Purchasing Consortium (NEYPPC) intend to establish a Framework Agreement for the provision of High Tech Homecare Medicines Services. The scope of this procurement will encompass all High Tech Homecare Medicines Services required by member Trusts within the NEY region, while also allowing access for non-member Trusts. Access for non-member Trusts will be available to any publicly funded entity, subject to prior approval from the Authority. The expectation is that the Framework will be multi-award, structured into the following Lots:

Lot HT26-E: Metabolic Disorders Homecare Medicines Services Medicines
Lot HT26-F: Other Non-compounded High Tech Homecare Medicines Services
