Supply of HEPA Filters

The tender concerns the supply of nuclear‑grade high‑efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters to Sellafield Ltd and its operating companies NRS and NRS Dounreay. The contract will be administered through the UKD1 site, and the supplier will be required to produce the filters in call‑off lots as demand arises, with no predetermined volume guarantee. All filters must satisfy Sellafield Ltd’s specifications and undergo mandatory type testing to validate their performance.

Lot 1, described as a smaller basket, will contain a range of unmodified MINI‑pleat HEPA filters (Type I & II), large circular filters in both stainless‑steel and PU cases with internal or external seals, in‑line canister filters with flanges, and push‑through HEPA filters in stainless‑steel housings. Lot 2, the larger basket, will comprise deep‑pleat HEPA filters with and without custom features, mini‑pleat filters equipped with lifting attachments, large circular filters in mild steel with internal or external seals, in‑line canister HEPA filters both screwed and painted mild steel, specialist filters and accessories, as well as smaller HEPA units. All filtered components are to be manufactured, tested, supplied and delivered in accordance with the detailed requirements set out for each product type.

All items produced under this contract must comply with the relevant Sellafield Ltd specifications and must pass the required type‑testing procedures.

The Detailed Design, Manufacture, Test, Supply and Delivery of Nuclear Grade Air Filters, including High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) Filters to the NDA Operating Companies; Sellafield Ltd, NRS and NRS Dounreay.
All HEPA Filter items produced must meet the relevant Sellafield Ltd specifications.
The items will be ordered as required as call off orders and there is no guarantee of volumes. There is a requirement for type testing across the goods specifications.
