Corrigendum-BROAD AGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT (BAA)- Research and Development (R&D) for Air Force Airbase Systems

The Air Force Civil Engineer Center – Readiness Directorate, Requirements and Acquisition Division is issuing a five‑year closed two‑step Broad Agency Announcement (FA8051‑24‑S‑0001) to solicit research and development proposals for Air Force airbase systems. The solicitation invites basic research, applied research, advanced technology development, and advanced component development and prototype work in line with DFARS 235.016(a) in the physical, engineering, and life sciences domains. Respondents will submit a white paper to a posted call and, if requested, a full proposal under the closed, two‑step procurement process governed by DFARS 206.102(d)(2).

The current announcement includes three specific call topics: Modern Timber Products for expeditionary environments, Automated Heavy Machinery, and PFAS Destruction. Each call presents distinct technical challenges and seeks innovative solutions through advanced research and prototype development. The Product Service Code may vary with each call, and technical and contracting points of contact will be identified for each submission.

All research efforts must meet the statutory requirements outlined in DFARS 235.016(a) and adhere to applicable National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) technical standards.

There will be no other announcement issued for this requirement. Offerors must monitor SAM.gov for amendments or CALLs issued.
