Corrigendum-UAS BROAD AGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT Solicitation Number: 697DCK-25-R-00278 Call 001-2026

The Federal Aviation Administration’s Unmanned Aircraft Systems Integration Office has issued Broad Agency Announcement 697DCK‑25‑R‑00278, with Call 001‑2026 inviting whitepaper submissions that advance demonstration and validation of systems and technologies necessary for the safe integration of unmanned aircraft systems into the national airspace system. The solicitation calls for innovative approaches within the broad focus areas of UAS integration, encouraging proposals that demonstrate operational readiness and can be evaluated for potential award within the two‑step BAA process. Respondents must partner with at least one FAA‑designated UAS Test Site, provide a Letter of Attestation from that site, and include a Rough Order of Magnitude detailing their cost‑share contribution.

Whitepaper submissions to this call are limited to ten pages (excluding cover, LOA, and ROM) and must be formatted according to specified naming conventions, emailed to the Contracting Officer by the January 9 2026 deadline, and accompanied by a 1:1 cost‑share arrangement up to a maximum of 50 % of the total project cost. The evaluation will consider the technology’s relevance to FAA mission objectives, the operational readiness of the proposed solution, and the availability of funding, which is expected to be approximately $12 million that will be distributed evenly among designated UAS Test Sites. The procurement is structured on a cost‑reimbursement basis with no fee, and the FAA retains the discretion to award multiple or fewer contracts depending on funding and technical merit.

Prerequisite standards include a 1:1 cost‑share matching and a Letter of Attestation from an FAA‑designated UAS Test Site.
