NASPO Value Point Courtesy Posting- Fire Trucks and Fire Apparatus

The State of Utah is preparing to participate in a cooperative procurement effort originating with the State of Mississippi under the NASPO ValuePoint multistate solicitation, number 3120003350, for fire trucks and fire apparatus. This courtesy posting serves to inform Utah public entities, nonprofit organizations, and authorized federal agencies that they may submit offers for the contract, which will be governed by the lead state’s procurement procedures and may provide statewide benefits through a potential Participating Addendum. Vendors interested in providing equipment for Utah’s fire and emergency services are encouraged to respond, even if their primary intention is to serve the State of Utah’s needs.

The solicitation covers a range of fire‑fighting vehicles and associated equipment, including fire‑fighting water tank trucks, fire‑fighting chemical trucks, ladder trucks, trucks equipped with remote‑control nozzles, as well as fire escape and extinguishing ladders and various fire‑rescue vehicle accessories. Compliance with the specified UNSPSC commodity codes and the technical and safety standards set forth in the request for proposal is required. All equipment must be compliant with the designated UNSPSC codes and meet the safety and performance requirements outlined in the solicitation.

This courtesy posting is provided as notice of the State of Utah's intent to participate in the contracts resulting from the NASPO ValuePoint Request for Proposal (RFP) for Fire Trucks and Fire Apparatus in a solicitation lead by the State of Mississippi. The RFP is scheduled to close on June 10th 2026. Vendors must monitor the Lead State's posting for any extensions or modifications in their eProcurement System. Utah Vendors are encouraged to respond to the solicitation, even if they are only intending to provide the goods/services in the State of Utah. If the State of Utah enters into a Participating Addendum it will be for the benefit of all Utah public entities, nonprofit organizations, and agencies of the federal government, i.e. State of Utah departments, agencies, and institutions, political subdivisions (colleges, universities, school districts, special service districts, cities and counties, etc.), and, as applicable, nonprofit organizations, agencies of the federal government, or any other entity authorized by the laws of the State of Utah to participate in State Cooperative Contracts will be allowed to use this Contract.

UNSPSC 30191509 - Fire escape ladder: A ladder which is used for the rescue activities at the time of emergency evacuation from fire and others. It defines the cross bar, vertical bar and others with interval, inner dimension and others in consideration of safety, convenience of handling and others.
