All deliverables must meet the statutory duties outlined in the Care Act 2014 and the Children and Families Act 2014, be interoperable with existing local case‑management infrastructure, and support a neighbourhood‑model approach that promotes resilience, independence and inclusive access across all age groups.

The Greater London Authority’s Virtual Reference Unit (VRU) seeks providers to deliver a comprehensive support package for boys and young men in care and educational settings, and for the adults who support them. The North East & Yorkshire NHS Pharmaceutical Purchasing Consortium is establishing a multi‑award framework agreement for the provision of High Tech Homecare Medicines Services to meet the needs of member trusts across the NEY region, while also permitting access for other publicly funded entities subject to prior approval. The framework will comprise six distinct lots covering a range of unlicensed compounded preparations—including desferrioxamine, antimicrobials, chemotherapy, monoclonal antibodies, and other compounded formulations—as well as metabolic disorder medicines and other non‑compounded high‑tech homecare services.

All required formulations must satisfy the relevant high‑tech homecare medicines standards and be prepared under strict quality assurance protocols to ensure safe and effective patient care.

The tender invites providers to supply a range of supported accommodation services for young care leavers in Luton. The procurement covers both of‑age services for 16‑17 year olds, which must be Ofsted registered, and non‑registered services for 18‑25 year olds. The contract will be delivered through a new Light Touch Open Framework that incorporates current Ofsted registration mandates, recently updated quality standards and the Inspection Framework introduced in 2023/24. Shared or group accommodation will comprise hostels, HMOs or multi‑bedroom houses in which each young person has a private bedroom, and may have a private bathroom, while sharing communal spaces such as kitchens and living areas. The accommodation must be situated in premises solely dedicated to looked‑after children and care leavers, with the option for 18‑plus care leavers to share accommodation where appropriate. The services seek to provide a safe, homely and nurturing environment that promotes semi‑independence, skill development and transition into adult life.

The procurement will also evaluate suppliers on their ability to embed support for education, training and employment within the accommodation settings. Providers must demonstrate proven experience in delivering high‑quality care and support, adhere to the regulatory framework for looked‑after children and care leavers, and maintain alignment with Ofsted standards for the 16‑17 age bracket and the 2023/24 Inspection Framework.

The Ministry of Defence is commissioning a high‑quality, comprehensive Defence Healthy Child Programme designed to deliver a coordinated 0‑19 prevention and care system for eligible family members living overseas. The programme will align closely with the United Kingdom National Healthy Child Programme while incorporating adaptations to meet the unique needs of Defence personnel and their families abroad. In partnership with Defence Primary Healthcare, Defence Medical Command, education, welfare and community services, the initiative will provide a single point of access to clinical public health services, including midwifery and specialist community public health nursing support, to assist parents and families through preconception, pregnancy and child development stages and to identify risks early.
