Fort Royal Community Primary School ~ Cleaning Tender

Fort Royal Community Primary School is seeking a provider of professional cleaning services to maintain its campus throughout the term and during holiday periods. The supplier will be responsible for routine morning cleaning that commences at 6:00 a.m. on term‑time and additional studies days, as well as deep‑cleaning activities during holidays when the school is closed for approximately four weeks each year. The contract, set to last three years with a possible extension, will cover a maintained special‑needs primary school in Central Worcester comprising 208 pupils, 170 staff and 25 classrooms, including specialised facilities such as a hydrotherapy pool, sensory areas and extensive outdoor learning spaces.

In addition to the standard daily schedule, the successful supplier must deliver ad‑hoc cleaning at the onset of holidays—including bin clearance and targeted cleans in key areas during Easter, summer and Christmas breaks—and work flexibly around any future holiday club or other seasonal activities. The school expects the contract to accommodate adjustments to cleaning times if a revised morning schedule is adopted, while remaining responsive to unexpected events such as staff shifts or class‐room changes across the year.

All cleaning work must be carried out using approved, environmentally friendly cleaning agents and must comply with applicable health and safety regulations.
