Corrigendum-Learning and Development Suppliers Framework

West Sussex County Council is launching a new Learning and Development Suppliers Framework to assemble a flexible, high‑quality pool of training delivery providers for the council’s workforce. The framework is structured into five distinct Lots, each targeting a key area of professional development: Lot 1 focuses on leadership, management, coaching and professional supervision; Lot 2 covers health and social care workforce development for adult, children and early childhood services; Lot 3 delivers corporate skills, organisational development, culture, wellbeing and change capability; Lot 4 seeks specialist expertise in modern, accessible learning design and digital curriculum creation; and Lot 5 requires digital skills training to enhance the digital capability of council staff.

All Lots mandate that suppliers deliver practice‑focused, evidence‑informed programmes that are inclusive, accessible and aligned to public‑sector standards. Providers must offer flexible delivery modes—face‑to‑face, virtual, blended, or self‑directed—along with coaching and mentoring from accredited practitioners where appropriate. They are expected to collaborate closely with council subject‑matter experts, comply with public‑sector accessibility standards, use inclusive language and materials, and support impact evaluation while refraining from promoting extraneous products or services. All training content and delivery must adhere to the latest version of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

Corrigendum-Provision of an Arboriculture Services Framework

The Councils of Monmouthshire, Torfaen and Blaenau Gwent are inviting suppliers to furnish a comprehensive Arboriculture Services Framework across South Wales, encompassing not only the authorities’ own tree stocks but also external client work for major housing developers. The framework will cover the full spectrum of tree care, from detailed condition surveys and routine maintenance of trees on highways, parks, social service sites, car parks, schools and estate land to specialist interventions such as mechanical removal of hazardous trees, pruning and planting of new trees and shrubs. Work orders will be generated on an ongoing basis, allowing the Councils to address diverse tasks that range from one‑off specialist operations to regular upkeep on a wide variety of sites.

Three distinct lots are specified within the framework. Lot 1A appoints a provider for condition surveys in Monmouthshire; Lot 1B covers general arboriculture services for the same area; Lot 1C handles mechanical removal of trees in Monmouthshire. Corresponding lots 2A, 2B and 2C address the same categories of work for Torfaen and Blaenau Gwent. The award will be made on a 12‑month renewal basis and weighted heavily on quality and compliance, with price and a combined quality‑and‑value factor also considered. All services must adhere to recognized UK arboricultural standards and health and safety regulations.

Enhanced Care Framework

The Sheffield City Council is establishing an Enhanced Care Framework aimed at adults over 16 who have learning disabilities, autism or mental health conditions and exhibit challenging behaviours. The framework will cover a range of services, organised into six lots that include enhanced supported living, support for severe multiple disadvantage, residential and nursing care, planned and emergency overnight short breaks, and crisis or bridging support. The framework is an open format contract designed to enable rapid procurement and flexible delivery of tailored supports that promote choice, independence and quality of life for service users.

The six lots are structured to address progressively more complex needs, from supported living arrangements that combine accommodation with community services to specialist nursing homes and overnight care in a residential setting. Providers are expected to mobilise quickly, deliver 24‑hour, 365‑day support, involve multidisciplinary teams and offer positive behaviour support when required, all while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and client‑led outcome measurements. Gauntlet Play Park Refurbishment

The procurement calls for the refurbishment of the play area at Gauntlet Park in Crookhorn, Havant. The awardee will design, supply, and install a new play provision strictly within the existing footprint of the site, working closely with the council to negotiate and update the design as required. The contract, expected to commence on 1 October 2026, will culminate in practical completion no later than 31 December 2027, and will include any ancillary refurbishment works needed to bring the facility to a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing state.

In addition to the immediate project, the council reserves the right to award future play‑park design‑and‑build contracts to the successful tenderer under the direct award provisions of the Procurement Act 2023, should further sites within the borough’s renewal pipeline warrant the same qualifications. The essential technical requirements for the new play provision include adherence to established safety standards, incorporation of sustainable materials and construction practices, provision of a robust maintenance and warranty programme, and compliance with quality control protocols.

Dementia Support Service

The bid seeks providers with the expertise to deliver a comprehensive Dementia Support Service on behalf of NHS Birmingham and Solihull Integrated Care Board. The service is intended to serve residents across Birmingham and Solihull, offering a single point of access to information, advice and support for individuals diagnosed with dementia and their carers. Key elements of the service include tailored signposting to community groups, proactive emotional and practical coaching, facilitation of peer‑led group participation, and the development of robust referral pathways that link health, social care and voluntary partners. The aim is to enhance independence, reduce health inequalities, prevent avoidable crisis and hospital admissions, and embed lived experience into all phases of design, delivery and evaluation.

Providers will be expected to plan and deliver person‑centred support that aligns with recognised best practices in dementia care, ensuring consistent quality, equitable access, and effective coordination across the local health and social care network. The contract spans an initial two‑year period with an option to extend for an additional two years, and selection will rely predominantly on technical quality of the proposed approach and, to a lesser extent, commercial considerations. All service delivery must be consistent with established dementia care guidelines.
