Supplier Managed Inventory - Chlorine Tablets
The Authority is seeking to enter into a direct contractual arrangement with a supplier capable of managing a dedicated inventory of chlorine disinfectant combination tablets containing 1.7âŻg of Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate (NaDCC) and detergent. The supplier must own and operate the production machinery, maintain an onâsite stock of the specified raw materials and packaging components, and be able to produce and deliver at least 3âŻmillion tablets per week on a weekly basis to a UK depot during emergency conditions, including periods of border closures. The inventory will encompass an estimated 9â30âŻmillion tabletsâ worth of materials, all held in the supplierâs controlled facility and reserved exclusively for the Authorityâs use during a national pandemic or public health emergency. This arrangement will operate independently of the Authorityâs existing Chlorine Framework, granting the Authority priority access to the stocked materials throughout the emergency period and ensuring a continuous supply for the contractâs duration. The supplier must demonstrate reliable, timely delivery capability and full ownership and control of all materials stored for the Authority.
