Supply and Installation of Bus Stop Infrastructure DPS

Milton Keynes City Council is opening a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to support its capital programme of bus stop upgrades across the city. The system will enable the council to procure, on a recurrent basis, the supply and installation of bus‑stop infrastructure components and to award contracts directly under the DPS terms. Tender submissions are accepted throughout the DPS term, which runs from 27 January 2025 to 23 February 2029, and awarded work will span the duration specified in each contract.

The DPS is designed as a multi‑provider scheme with no cap on the number of suppliers admitted, provided they meet the council’s selection criteria and maintain current, accurate information. New suppliers may apply at any point during the term, and the council retains the right to review material changes to any application. Contracts awarded under the DPS will have no guaranteed volume of work or fixed value, but the total value of all contracts administered through the system will remain within the statutory ceiling, and no additional options or variants will be accepted.

Suppliers must demonstrate relevant experience, qualifications, and the ability to meet the technical specifications and quality standards required for bus‑stop infrastructure projects. All contractual documents and submissions must be provided in English. Compliance with the specified technical standards governing bus‑stop design, materials, and installation is mandatory.

WCC - Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Road Traffic Surveys

The Warwickshire County Council is establishing a dynamic purchasing system to secure the supply of a suite of road traffic surveys. Through this system suppliers will be able to provide automatic traffic count, junction turning count, active travel, automatic number plate recognition and parking surveys across the county’s highway network. Each survey type is designed to run for specific durations—two‑week periods for traffic counts, weekday spikes for turning, active travel and parking surveys, and compact intervals for ANPR—providing comprehensive data on vehicle volumes, speeds, classifications, origin‑destination journeys, emissions, and parking usage.

Operators elected to the DPS will register with the council’s free e‑tendering platform, In‑Tend, with all communication funneled through the system’s correspondence function. Upon successful admission and a 30‑day initial period, suppliers will receive notifications of contracting opportunities and may choose to bid on the tasks that suit their capabilities. The system is structured as a recurring procurement with a four‑year validity and the possibility of renewal, while options and variants are excluded.

All surveys must conform to UK road safety and data protection standards.

Dynamic Purchasing System for Hired Passenger Transport SEND

The London Borough of Barnet has opened a Dynamic Purchasing System for hired passenger transport in support of statutory and discretionary policies for passengers with special educational needs and disabilities. Under the DPS, the council will procure a range of transport services and accompanying assistants to provide mobility support to eligible individuals across the borough.

The procurement covers a broad spectrum of vehicles, divided into eleven separate lots that include cars, estate cars, medium and large MPVs, minibuses of varying seating capacities, coaches, and wheelchair‑adapted vehicles. Each lot is matched to specific vehicle types and specialisms, ensuring that transport solutions are tailored to the diverse needs of the passenger group, from education transport with special educational needs to adult day‑care centre services. Operators wishing to supply these services may join the system at any time upon satisfying the entry criteria outlined in the tender documents.

The DPS is established for an initial term of 48 months with an option to extend for a further 48 months, allowing a maximum contractor tenure of 96 months. While the monetary value attached to each lot is estimated at ÂŁ24,000,000 excluding VAT, price is not the sole award criterion; additional evaluation factors are detailed in the procurement documents.
