Repairs and Maintenance DPS

The tender establishes a Dynamic Purchasing System dedicated to the procurement of repair, maintenance, and related services for public‑sector facilities across Scotland. It is intended for educational institutions, healthcare establishments, emergency service depots, housing schemes and other public‑sector buildings, providing a structured response to both urgent and scheduled maintenance needs. The DPS is divided into fourteen distinct lots organised into four primary workstreams that cover the full spectrum of building maintenance—from the envelope and structural integrity to mechanical, electrical, and environmental systems, with an overarching multidisciplinary component for complex projects.

Workstream 1 addresses the building envelope, encompassing roofing, external cladding, internal damp and mould rectification, and the upkeep of windows, doors and other openings. Workstream 2 covers mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems, including plumbing, heating, ventilation, cooling, electrical distribution, lifts and detection equipment such as CCTV and fire alarms. Workstream 3 focuses on environmental and infestation control, covering property protection, pest management and drainage solutions. Workstream 4 allows for integrated, multi‑disciplinary contracts that combine multiple areas of maintenance within a single agreement. All services must comply with the relevant UK building regulations, health and safety requirements, fire safety standards and environmental guidelines.

Mobile Diagnostic and Treatment Units Dynamic Purchasing System

The Dynamic Purchasing System is established to procure mobile diagnostic and/or treatment units for use by NHS and other public sector organisations across the United Kingdom. These units, typically delivered as vans or temporary cabin structures, are intended to increase capacity, reduce waiting lists and alleviate clinical pressure by providing diagnostic or therapeutic services in hospital sites or closer to patients’ homes such as GP practices or community locations. The system is structured into three distinct lots, allowing suppliers to offer either hire or lease arrangements, outright purchase, or hire with an inclusive managed service that covers consumables and staffing where required.

Lot 1 focuses on providing fully equipped units on a hire or lease basis, while Lot 2 invites suppliers to deliver these units through purchase. Lot 3 expands the offer by including a managed service component, ensuring ongoing provision of consumables and personnel as necessary. All offers must meet the requirements outlined in the DPS Outline Specification, with variants accepted and contracts subject to renewal. Units must adhere to the DPS Outline Specification and meet all applicable NHS technical and safety standards.

West Yorkshire Bus Franchising Dynamic Market

West Yorkshire Combined Authority has established a Dynamic Market invitation for participation in franchised bus service procurement. The market is divided into two distinct tiers: Tier A, where operators are required to use Authority‑owned depot facilities and fleet for their contractual operations, and Tier B and C, where operators may source their own depots and typically use their own fleet, with occasional use of Authority‑owned vehicles. All potential suppliers may submit applications to either or both tiers at any time, provided they complete the formal process through YorTender before the specified deadlines (19 September 2025 for Tier A Round 1 and 3 October 2025 for Tier B & C Round 1). Membership in the relevant tier is mandatory to receive tender invitations, as the Combined Authority will issue invitations only to members and will not publish individual procurements on the central digital platform.

For each tier, public service bus contracts will cover the provision of bus services to the general public on pre‑specified timetables within the West Yorkshire area. Operators will supply drivers, staff, vehicle maintenance, cleaning, traffic coordination and network management, and will integrate IT and other systems with the Authority’s performance‑monitoring and customer‑facing platforms. Tier A contracts mandate operation from Authority‑provided depots and use of Authority‑owned fleet, whereas Tier B & C contracts allow operator‑provided depots and primarily operator‑owned fleet, with limited Authority vehicle usage. All contractual obligations must be performed in accordance with the Authority’s performance management regime and other contract management arrangements. The services must operate from a Combined Authority depot and utilize Authority‑owned fleet.

NUT

The contract seeks the procurement of high‑performance, Level I stem retaining nuts (item 22A) that conform to General Dynamics drawing 2641‑807‑01 and are manufactured from ASTM‑B505 alloy C90300. These nuts are critical components for shipboard systems where failure could result in severe personnel risk or loss of essential ship functions; consequently, the material is classified as Special Emphasis material with strict control procedures and zero‑defect acceptance criteria. The purchase mandates quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis of the alloy, full traceability to certified test reports, and adherence to rigorous inspection regimes, including visual inspection of all surfaces and threads per T9074‑AS‑GIB‑010/271 and acceptance under S9074‑AR‑GIB‑010/278, Table XV.1 Column B. Thread integrity must be verified using FED‑STD‑H28 (or acceptable ASME B1 equivalents), with the qualifier that system 21 may substitute for system 22 only when no governing specification otherwise requires system 22. The nuts must remain free of mercury and cannot be welded. No additional machining or finishing may be performed unless a documented Engineering Change Proposal is approved. All supplied parts must carry traceability markings derived from ISO‑10012 or ISO‑17025 compliant calibration systems, and a certificate of compliance must accompany each shipment, confirming conformity to all invoiced drawings, specifications, and mentioned certifications. These requirements collectively ensure that each nut meets the highest standards for reliability, safety, and operational readiness in naval service.

Our Lady of the Magnificat MAC ~ Cleaning Tender

The tender invites suppliers to supply comprehensive cleaning services for the four secondary and middle schools that form part of the Our Lady of the Magnificat Multi‑Academy Company. The sites include St Augustine’s Catholic High School and Sixth Form in Redditch, St Bede’s Catholic Middle School also in Redditch, Trinity Catholic School in Royal Leamington Spa, and St Benedict’s Catholic High School and Sixth Form in Alcester. The final list of sites to be covered will be confirmed in the specification, and the contracting authority expects the contractor to deliver a consistent service across all schools from contract commencement.

The contract will run for three years from 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2029, with an optional 1 + 1 year extension under the same terms and conditions. It will be awarded on a fixed‑price basis, with the contractor invoicing one‑twelfth of the annual cost each month. A monthly reconciliation will adjust for actual hours worked, and the contractor must maintain a system to cover both planned and unplanned leave while ensuring that the contracted hours are always worked. The successful supplier will therefore provide a fully accountable, scheduled cleaning service across all four schools, meeting the mutually agreed specifications and contractual obligations. The contract will be a fixed‑price, 3‑year agreement with optional 1+1 year extensions and requires monthly reconciliation of hours against a predetermined input.
